OSA Asks Soybean Industry Stakeholders to Call Their Senators Today, Ask for ‘YES’ Vote on Farm Bill

February 3, 2014 Ohio Soybean Association

WORTHINGTON, Ohio – The Ohio Soybean Association (OSA) and the American Soybean Association (ASA) are asking all Ohio soybean farmers and other industry stakeholders to call their senators today and ask for a ‘yes’ vote on the farm bill. It was recently approved by the U.S. House of Representatives and the Senate is expected to take up the bill tomorrow.

OSA and ASA support the bill, which provides for multiple soybean farmer priorities, most notably a flexible farm safety net that includes a choice between price-based and revenue-based risk management tools and maintains the decoupling of payments under both programs from current planted acreage.

Visit the ASA Action Center at http://soygrowers.com/learn/soy-action-center to learn more, find contact information for your senators and send emails.
