Bennett Musselman farms soybeans, corn and wheat with his family in Pickaway, Madison, and Franklin Counties.
Off the farm, Bennett works with Leist Mercantile, where he provides risk management services to area farmers through grain marketing, hedging, futures trading, crop insurance, and property and casualty insurance. He previously spent nearly 15 years as an agricultural lender, building strong relationships and a deep understanding of farm business management.
Bennett is actively engaged in agricultural leadership at the local and state levels. He currently serves on the Pickaway County Fair Board, and as a member of the Muhlenberg Township Board of Zoning Appeals. Together with his wife, Liza, he served as chair of the Ohio Farm Bureau Young Ag Professionals and completed the American Soybean Association Corteva Agriscience Young Leader Program in 2021. He is also a graduate of the Ohio Farm Bureau’s AgriPOWER Institute.
Bennett holds a bachelor’s degree in business management and human resource management from Franklin University. He and Liza are raising their two sons on the family farm, instilling in them the same values of hard work, stewardship, and community service.

Rusty Goebel farms over 2,800 acres of corn, soybeans and wheat in Williams County. He is a Board Member for the Ohio Soybean Association. Rusty also helps run hog and cattle finishing operations. In addition to OSA, he is a member of Ohio Farm Bureau and the Ohio Pork Producers. Rusty also serves on the board of the Stryker Farmer’s Cooperative, is a Springfield Township Trustee, and is a member of the Stryker Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the First Lutheran Church.




Trish Cunningham serves as a member of the Ohio Soybean Association’s Board of Trustees. She farms soybeans and corn, and also grows full garden mums. In addition, she owns a crop insurance company. Trish was a 2017 DuPont Young Leader. She is also a graduate of Oklahoma State University and Agripower. Trish is also a member of the Ohio Corn and Wheat Growers Association and Ohio Farm Bureau.

David Clark of Warren County raises over 3,000 acres of soybeans, corn and wheat. He serves on the Ohio Soybean Council Board of Trustees and the Ohio Soybean Association Board of Trustees. He represents the Ohio Soybean Council on the North Central Soybean Research Program board and Soy Transportation Coalition board. David earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Purdue University in material science and engineering.


Jeff Magyar of Ashtabula County is a member of the Ohio Soybean Council and Ohio Soybean Association Board of Trustees. Jeff currently serves on the national Soy Transportation Coalition Board of Directors, Republican Party Executive Committee and the Western Reserve Co-op Board. He is also an Ohio Farm Bureau County Trustee, Pymatuning Valley FFA Alumni member and Wayne Township Trustee. In addition, Jeff is a member of St. Mary Church where he serves on the Finance Committee.

Scott Metzger, a farmer from Williamsport, OH, began serving on the American Soybean Association Board of Directors in December 2017. He farms 1,400 acres of soybeans, in addition to producing corn, wheat and malting barley.
Scott is a sixth-generation farmer who farms with his uncle and two cousins. He joined the Ohio Soybean Association in 2011 and has served as treasurer, vice president and first vice president. Scott has also completed the ASA/DuPont Young Leader program, Syngenta Leadership at Its Best program and Ohio Farm Bureau AgriPOWER leadership program. In addition, he is a member of the Ohio Corn and Wheat Growers Association and the Ohio Malting Barley Committee.
Scott is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a bachelor’s in agronomy and minor in agri-business. He enjoys spending time with his children, kayaking and watching dirt track races.


Ryan Rhoades of Marion County farms nearly 3,000 acres of soybeans and corn in Delaware County. He previously served as First Vice President. In addition to row crops, they run a 2,500 head finishing operation. Ryan is a member of the Ohio Farm Bureau and attends Fite Memorial Baptist Church. He holds a B.S. in Agriculture and Spanish from Wilmington College. Ryan is also a past Beck’s Young Farm Leader, a program that recognizes young Ohio soybean farmers for their leadership and dedication to the soybean industry.

Bob Suver is a fifth generation soybean and corn farmer in Clark County, OH. Bob serves on the Ohio Soybean Council Board of Trustees as well as the Ohio Soybean Association Board of Trustees. He also serves on the World Initiative for Soy and Human Health (WISHH) of the American Soybean Association and on the steering committee for Soy Excellence Center of the United State Soybean Export Council. He is a member of the Clark County Farm Bureau and the Ohio Corn and Wheat Growers Association. Bob is president of the Glenn Haven Memorial Park Committee and is a member of Bethel Baptist Church. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Ohio University.

Jennifer Wilson of Van Wert County farms soybeans and corn, and serves as a member of the Ohio Soybean Association Board of Trustees. She is a member of the Ohio Farm Bureau, Ohio Farm Bureau Young Agriculture Professionals Committee, active in both Hancock and Van Wert County Farm Bureau’s and is an Arlington FFA Alumni group member. In addition, Jennifer is a Northwest Ohio Gladiolus Society member and Auxiliary Director for the Van Wert County Fair board. She graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.S. in Agriculture Education as well as an MBA.
