Plant Research
Growing a Better Bean
From seed to the grain bin, soybean checkoff dollars go to work to find solutions to the biggest challenges facing Ohio soybean farmers. These solutions are driven by innovative research projects in soybean breeding and genetics, integrated pest management, agronomic practices, and technology development. Ultimately, the checkoff brings improved soybean varieties, insect and disease resistance, new best management practice recommendations, and new technologies to quickly address field issues."
