Ohio Soybean Organizations Elect 2026 Board Leadership
In mid-December, Ohio soybean farmers welcomed a new year of leadership as the Ohio Soybean Association (OSA) and Ohio Soybean Council (OSC) elected their boards for 2026.
For OSC, elections took place on Monday, Dec. 15, with Jerry Bambauer of Auglaize County elected as chairman. He will be joined by Chad Warner of Darke County as vice chairman, Jeff McKanna of Putnam County as treasurer, and Todd Hesterman of Henry County as secretary.
“I’m honored to take on the role of chairman,” said Bambauer. “We have a talented and dedicated board, representing farmers from across Ohio. Together, we will continue putting checkoff dollars to work in research, market development, education, and programs that make a difference for soybean farmers.”
The following day, Tuesday, Dec. 16, OSA announced its leadership team for 2026. Pickaway County farmer Bennett Musselman, previously vice president, was elevated to president. Rusty Goebel of Williams County, the former president, assumed the role of chairman. Dustin Converse of Union County was elected vice president, Dave Green of Crawford County was elected treasurer, and Adam Vonderhaar of Preble County was elected secretary.
“After serving as vice president, I’m excited to step into the president role,” said Musselman. “I’m grateful for the trust of my fellow board members and look forward to working with this team to advocate for Ohio soybean farmers and amplify their voices across the state.”
