Current Calls to Action

Tell the Senate to Support Domestic Biofuels Feedstocks

The U.S. Senate Finance Committee released a proposal that would allow fuels made with foreign feedstocks to receive 80% of the Clean Fuel Production Credit (45Z). This eliminates soy's competitive advantage included in the House-passed 45Z provision. A 20% reduction in the 45Z tax credit for foreign feedstocks will NOT make soy competitive against foreign-imported used cooking oil (UCO) or other imported feedstocks.

Help us tell the Senate that soybean farmers need the House-passed North American feedstock ringfence reinstated in 45Z to support U.S. farmers and prevent a tax credit giveaway to foreign competitors.
