Ohio Soybean Association 2026-2027 RFS Comments


The Ohio Soybean Association has voiced strong support for EPA’s proposed 2026–2027 Renewable Fuel Standard volumes, which would significantly increase biomass-based diesel requirements.

This proposal will strengthen domestic biofuel markets, boost demand for Ohio-grown soybeans, and support rural economies. It also prioritizes U.S. feedstocks over questionable foreign imports and protects blending requirements from being weakened by refinery exemptions.
