Scholarship Details
The Ohio Soybean Association (OSA), the membership and policy arm for Ohio soybean farmers, offers two $1,000 scholarships each year to students of any major who have a strong interest in the soybean industry.
The scholarship is applied to the following academic year, and eligible applicants must be full-time students at a college, university, or technical school, with at least 15 credit hours completed. Applicants must also have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and be able to provide proof of legal residency in Ohio. To qualify, students must either be the child or grandchild of an OSA member or hold a Student and Young Adult Membership themselves (SYA membership is $10).
Applications for the 2026–2027 academic year will open in the fall. More information and application details will be available closer to that time.

The Ohio Soybean Association is governed by a volunteer farmer board dedicated to education and promotion, as well as to uniting producer interest through support of legislative activities beneficial to the Ohio soybean industry.

Morgan Anderson, of Amanda, Ohio, is a junior at Ohio University studying Journalism: News & Information.
Ruth Beery, of Frankfort, Ohio, is a junior at Wilmington College majoring in animal science and biology.
