A Message About OSA and OSC’s Response to COVID-19

March 17, 2020 Ohio Soybean Association

There’s no doubt that COVID-19 is creating unprecedented challenges for all of us, both personally and professionally. First and foremost, we want to emphasize the commitment of the Ohio Soybean Association (OSA) and Ohio Soybean Council (OSC) to the health and safety of our board members, employees, colleagues, and the general public.

Based on the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Ohio Governor Mike DeWine, our staff will mainly be working remotely until further notice. All in-person meetings and events will be postponed or moved online. While we will not be in the office physically, staff and board leadership have access to technology that will allow us to continue our work on behalf of Ohio’s soybean farmers as usual.

We’ll continue to monitor any legislative or regulatory activity while staying in contact with local, state, and national leadership. Our staff and partners will continue their vital work on checkoff projects to expand markets, drive innovation, and build understanding. All regular OSA and OSC communication will proceed without interruption, and staff members will continue to be available as usual during working hours Monday through Friday.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions. In the meantime, we hope that you and your families remain healthy as we navigate these challenges.
